The MatController is a high performance module that collects the data proceeding from the Tags
by means of the Mats, it assigns to this data (ID) the real time and then stores it in a Pen Drive
and/or sends it to the PC by an Ethernet interface.

In a timing station we will find two MatController, the main one and the backup.

There are three different MatController's models:

* Average capacity for one timming station (main MatController and backup).

      how it works?

The MatController works with reloadable batterie, giving to this an autonomy of more than
24 continuous running hours.

The Mats are connected to the MatController, up to four of them. His job is to charge the
antennas which are within the Mats producing therefore the necessary magnetic field for the
Tag’s activation and reading of its code.

Once collected the data proceeding from a Tag, the MatController assigns to the ID the time in
which it was read and the corresponding identification of the timing station, arming therefore the
final information package. In the image below the internal clock of the MatController can be
seen, which must be put in time by the user, before beginning a competition.

The MarController stores the final information package in a Pen Drive that is within itself, also it
can send the package to the PC via the Ethernet interface.
