description

A Tag is a miniature transponder lodged in a compartment specially designed marked with
unrepeatible universal code.

A transponder is a waterproof glass capsule that contains in its inner a chip and an overgyzing tail, which generates the necessary energy for the chip’s operation when it enters in the magnetic field generated by the Mats.

The Tags can be used under any climatic condition, rain, cold, heat, etc.

      how it works?

The Tags do not have batteries, these are inactive until they enter in the magnetic field generated
by the antennas within the Mats.

When a Tag enters in the magnetic field the energyzing tail produces the electrical current
necessary to ignite the chip. The transponder then transmits its unique authentication code to the
receiving antennas within the Mats. All the process takes approximately 30 milliseconds.

      types of tag

At the moment exist two different types of Tags:

• Red
• Green

The red Tags are used by organizers in their competitions. These Tags once finished the
competition must be given back to the event organizer.

The green Tags are personal, any competitor can acquire a green Tag and use it in any event
in where it’s used this timming system.
The advantages to have a Tag of your own go from obtaining discounts in the inscription to
competitions until the possibility of counting with an on-line historial with all the competitions in
which you have participed, and hundrends of advantages more.

      codes

All the Tags count with an universal authentication code of seven digits. The number of
combinations is limitless, in theory, each person of the planet could have a personal Tag.

The Tag has a code of seven digits. the possible positions of the digits are:

      how to use it?

• If you take your personal Tag to the sport event, make sure that the organizer knows it's code.
The Tag's code is printed in the back part and it has seven digits.

• Make sure nobody more uses your personal Tag or the one that the organization provides to
you.

• Make sure that during the competition you are using only one Tag.

• Without Tag there is no classification and the event organizer will not become responsible for it.
The system will only classify the racers who have a Tag.

• The Tags provided by the event organizer must be returned after the competition has finished.

La distancia de lectura de los Tags es limitada. Las antenas lectoras se encuentran dentro de las Mats ubicadas en el suelo, es por eso que el Tag debe colocarse lo mas cerca posible de las mismas sobre el cuerpo del competidor.

For marathon, triathlon, duatlhon, acuatlhon and open waters competitions:
