Our MM System is an automatic system which uses a low frequency (125 KHZ) RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) with analogical and digital electronics and dedicated software in order to make the time keeping during a competition and the racer’s classification later using MACSHA Cronos Studio´s software.

      where to use it?

The system can be used to take times in any active sport competition such as: open waters,
marathon, triatlhon, acuatlhlon and duatlhlon.

      components

The system is compound by two main elements, the Mats (carpets) and the MatController (system).

The Mats are connected to the MatControllers (up to 4 by each one). A basic timing station is
composed by two MatControllers (one main and another one secondary or backup) and eight
Mats.

      how it works?

To identificate competitors Tags are used. Tags offer a unique universal identification to each
competitor. The organizer of the competition can rent and/or sell to each competitor a Tag.

Tags, depending on the sport of the competition, can be used in the ankle (triathlon, acuathlon,
marathon). In footwear (marathon, duathlon) or in the wrist (open waters).

Each Tag represents the ID of each competitor within the system. When entering the competitor
with the Tag within the magnetic field generated by the Mats the system makes the reading of the
unique Tag code assigning the corresponding time and storing it in the Pen Drive that is within
each MatController, all this cycle is made in less than 60 milliseconds.

The collected data is analyzed by the MACSHA Cronos Studio Software, where the data entailment is made, between the competitors and the results of the competition.

      set ups

The next four types of set ups are possible with the system to be used in the competition's
timing . The first one is for a medium flow of competitors (a main line and one for backup)
the second one is for a greater flow of competitors (two main lines and two for backup), the
third one is for a triathlon competition and the forth one is for an open waters competition.

These ones previously described are regular set ups type, according to the requirement of each
competition (sport, amount of competitors, place, etc.) different types of system’s set ups will be
able to be formed since each MatController is independent from each other.
