The UHF system is an automatic system of ultra high frequency (900 MHZ) that uses the technology RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) of UHF with analogical and digital electronics and dedicated software to make the time keeping during the competition and later, the classification of the competitors with the Software MACSHA Cronos Studio.
where to use it?
The system can be used to take times in any competition from: cycling, route, road or mountain bike, motocross, kartings, enduro, ATV, marathon, etc. This thanks to its capacity of avoiding collisions during the Tags reading cycle and its high speed at reading them too.

components
The system is made up of two main elements, the Reader and the Antennas.

The Antennas are connected to the Reader (up to 4 in each one), being able, this way, to cover
an area up to 6-7 meters. A basic timing station with the UHF system is composed by a Reader
and four Antennas.

how it works?
For the identification of the competitors during an event are used Tags, who offer a unique
universal identification to each competitor. The event organizer can rent and/or sell to each
competitor a Tag.
The Tags depending on the sport of the competition, can be used in the bicycle (cycling) or in the
dorsal (marathon), or in a motorbike (motocross).
The Tags can be made to measure of the organizer requirements (size, colors, numbers, etc.).


with the Tag within the magnetic field generated by the Antennas, the system makes the reading
of the unique code of the Tag assigning the corresponding time, with exactitude of milliseconds,
and transmitting it to the PC via Ethernet and/or storing it in a Pen Drive that is within the backup
module.
The collected data is analyzed by the MACSHA Cronos Studio Software, where the entailment of
data between the competitors and the results of the competition is made.

The next two types of set ups are possible with the system to be used in the competition's
timing.

competition (sport, amount of competitors, place, etc.) different types of system’s set ups will be
able to be formed since each Reader is independent from each other.
