Macsha Cronos

Moving toward the construction of a sustainable and environmentally safe world means modifying those production pattern and consumption which can be unfriendly to the planet and future generations.

Confront the great challenges of sustainability and finding solutions to them, is a global imperative. Our own existence as a species depends on it. To succeed in a task of this magnitude people, public institutions and companies around the world must help.

MACSHA is aware of this, and that is why we have developed the Green Timing platform, for a better timing, from the production to the provision of a service.

Production of consumables.

We are always looking for the best eco-friendly supplies.

In a continuous improvement of our production processes we look for more eco-friendly supplies

We adopted the use of solid wax ink. Solid ink is an innovative and award-winning technology of color printing. Compared with laser printing technology, solid ink generates up to 90% less waste because it contains no cartridges or packaging for disposal.

Stationery recyclable.

For the production of our M-BIBS and M-TAGS we use different types of papers in different weights and sizes. In all cases the paper is made of recycled materials or other kind of sustainable material.

For our M-BIBS we use Dupont Tyvek® paper. Tyvek® is made of high density polyethylene that is 100% recyclable. The Tyvek® can be safely incinerated because its combustion produces water and dioxide which essentially leaves no waste. And, if recycling or incineration are not options, Tyvek® can be landfilled safely. Because it is chemically inert and contains no binders, it will not leach into groundwater.

System Manufacturing

We are always looking for the best eco-friendly supplies.

As part of the global initiative to minimize the use of hazardous substances in the production of electronic equipment and RoHS compliance we are eliminating the use of lead in all our products and manufacturing processes.

The 99% of the electronic components used to manufacture our timing systems and their accessories are lead free, and we only work with suppliers who can certify the fulfillment of RoHS regulations.

Installations and sustainable processes.

Energy saving and no waste of resources is equally important as the utilization of ecological materials.

Indirectly, misuse or excessive use of resources for manufacturing threatens the safety and sustainability. In our offices and in our workshops we have adopted a low-power technology by replacing all incandescent bulbs with energy-efficient lights.

Did you know that if you change in your house five incandescent light bulbs for five equivalent energy saving light bulbs you can save about $ 75 a year in electricity? And more importantly, reduce the emission of greenhouse gases at 340 Kg!

For a service without environmental footprint.

From manufacturing to service. Green Timing is a global policy and everyone's responsibility.

In the organization of a sporting event usually are mounted and dismounted structures, tents, stages, flags and banners, mounted electrical installations of audio, video, and other activities. All this, 90% of the time happens in locations, public roads or outdoors. That is why it is extremely important at the end of the competition, make sure we leave the place in the same conditions we found it before the event.

Is the responsibility of every MACSHA Timer.

  • Collect all seals, belts, bags, wires, and all waste genrated during provision of service
  • Provide to the organizer the information and resources required to promote the final cleaning of supplies used in the event. M-TAGS and M-BIBS.
  • Inform the participants of the event how they can safely dispose the used M-TAGS and M-BIBS .
(A discount will apply to the M-TAGS returned)

Is the responsibility of the event organizer.

  • Return the cardboard boxes used for the delivery of supplies to your MACSHA Timer friend for recycling or reuse.
  • Return to a MACSHA Timer those supplies that cannot been used in the event and will not be used in the future. As a note-> We will apply a discount for the returned M-TAGS.

Is the responsibility of the participant.

  • Collaborate with organic standards and the cleaning of the event.
  • Do not throw waste neither on public roads if the event is urban, or in the environment if the event is outdoors.
  • If you don't want to keep your M-TAG or M-BIB as a souvenir, then find out how to dispose it.

Proper disposal of supplies.

How to dispose of a M-TAG?

The M-TAGS can be safely discarded in any thrash can. According to international standards, the M-TAGS can be throw into landfills, can be incinerated or may be recycled in separated parts. The M-TAGS are composed of a passive radio frequency tag (RFID) containing a tiny silicon chip and an aluminum antenna, all embedded in a paper label. You can send your M-TAG to the closest MACSHA Time, and they will arrange for them for disposal, recycling or reuse.

How to dispose of a M-BIB Tyvek®?

Tyvek® is made of a high density polyethylene that is 100% recyclable. The Tyvek® can be safely incinerated because its combustion produces water and dioxideand can be landfilled safely. Because it is chemically inert and contains no binders, it cannot leach into groundwater.
